Stompin' Grounds began out of a passion for Coffee, Community and a Cause.

We have been a part of Communities on Mission for most of our lives. Back in the early 90's we were connected with an amazing place called The Mission for Children in Baja Mexico. We started ONE27 Foundation to fund The Mission for Children in 2015. This incredible place is home to 15 severely disabled children (adults).

Our desire is to see Stompin' Grounds as a bridge between Sumner County and Mexico. That Sumner County would impact Mexico and that Mexico would impact Sumner County. Yearly we will be going on a Missions Trip to serve these beautiful soles and watch as their sweet lives affect the youth, young adults and people of Sumner County.

So Why Hendersonville? Why Stompin'  Grounds?

After living across the globe for many years, we moved to Hendersonville in Feb. of 2017 to be with family. Our kids both attend HHS and have been loving their involvement in the song and arts departments. For myself, being a coffee lover, I made it my mission to find great coffee shops in Nashville... Needless to say, we did not find one in Hendersonville with a comfortable place to sit, work or talk with friends. Our wheels started turning, since running two coffee shops during our 11 year season in England (yes, England... Thats another story) we thought... why don't we start a coffee house here in our city?!?! Our teenagers also gave some input into this, “Why don't we give the youth in this city a place to share their music and their arts?” So we decided to put all of these ideas together and start the Stompin’ Grounds Coffee House. Since opening in June of 2018 Stomping' Grounds has become a coffee home to many. We have received the "Best Beverage" award at the "Taste of Hendersonville 2018" and Hendersonville Lifestyle Magazines readers choice award for "Best Coffee Shop". We will be heading out over spring break for our first Missions Trip. We are so grateful for the love and support we have received from our community!
